The Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) has conceded Accreditation-Continued Status to the University of Kentucky Physician Assistant Program supported by the University of Kentucky. Accreditation-Continued is an accreditation status allowed when a right now authorize system is in consistence with the ARC-PA Standards.
Accreditation stays basically until the project closes or pulls back from the accreditation procedure or until accreditation is pulled back for inability to conform to the Standards. The inexact date for the following approval survey of the system by the ARC-PA will be December 2016. The audit date is dependent upon proceeded with consistence with the accreditation Standards and ARC-PA strategy.
The Physician Assistant Studies Program at UK was started in 1973 and is one of two Physician Assistant projects in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
We are completely certify by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA), which is perceived by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). The Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies degree is given by the UK Graduate School for understudies at the UK Lexington grounds and at the country grounds situated on the grounds of Morehead State University. Graduates are qualified to take the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination. After effective culmination of the examination, they are qualified for state confirmation and licensure to rehearse as ensured doctor aides.
