Writing and composing at Bennington are grounded in the possibility that great authors are great perusers. Composing is an augmentation of and reaction to perusing, and on the grounds that the staff are all prestigious authors, true to life scholars, writers, artists, and dramatists, you are routinely welcomed into an essayist's viewpoint on exemplary and contemporary writing. The semiweekly Literature Evening is held in a house lounge, and elements readings of understudy and personnel work, talks, and visitor readings and addresses. Grounds productions like SILO and The Bennington Free Press, and plain china, Bennington College's online understudy artistic magazine, give outlets to understudy composing and altering. Moreover, Bennington Review, a national half-yearly print diary housed at Bennington College, was relaunched in 2016.
